The Sorting Hat.

I loved this challenge! I was such a Pokemon fanatic when I was younger (and I still love the old school ones), so I got to have a lot of fun with that, haha. And New Girl has the perfect characters to make up The Breakfast Club.

The first time a Chansey appeared under Joy's ownership was in Pokémon Emergency! Two Chansey wheeled Ash's Pikachu into the emergency room after it was injured badly from a flock of Spearow Ash was protecting Pikachu from. Since then, they have been featured in nearly every Pokémon Center.

Extremely rare in the wild, Chansey is said to bring happiness and extremely good luck to those who are lucky enough to capture her. Chansey lays several eggs each day. The egg is extremely nutritious and tasty. A kindhearted and charitable Pokémon, Chansey will share her eggs with injured Pokémon she may come across. However, she will not share her egg with anyone who has evil in his or her heart. Chansey walks carefully to protect her egg from damage, but can be startlingly fast when she must run from danger.

Generally, a Charizard will be competitive. It loves to battle, and spends a great amount of time training or looking for opponents. Its competitive spirit is also noteworthy, since it will never spit flames at a weaker foe unless provoked or commanded. When it gets very angered, the flames on its tail become a bluish-white color. Charizard has been depicted in Great Bowls of Fire to repeatedly lick the people and Pokémon it is fond of, in a similar manner to a dog.

Machoke are Pokémon of immense strength. In fact, they are so strong that even with the power-save belt they constantly wear to control their power they are able to lift a dump truck with one hand. Strong and capable, Machoke helps people with labor.

This fox-like, quadruped Pokémon is covered with a thick, luxurious golden-white fur, as well as having nine tails, each of which is tipped with orange. They also have a fluffy crest atop their heads and a similar ruff around their necks. Ninetales have gleaming red eyes that are said to give them the power of mind control.

This Pokémon's extreme intelligence lends to what most consider Psychic-type characteristics, though Ninetales has never officially been described as anything other than a Fire-type. It also seems to hold grudges very easily and will curse humans and Pokémon alike if they touch one of its tails.

Psyduck are usually unable to think very clearly due to having a chronic headache. Because of the headache, a Psyduck will always hold its head. When these headaches worsen, Psyduck may use psychic powers.

Misty has a Psyduck that she accidentally caught in Hypno's Naptime. It is a constant source of frustration for her, as it frequently emerges from its Poké Ball to attempt to battle the opponent in substitution of one of her other Pokémon. Despite this, she has been shown to deeply care for it. Despite being generally shown as dimwitted and oblivious, when its headache gets bad enough, it has been shown to use phenomenally powerful Psychic-type moves which far exceed its normal ability.
