Juno was killed by a car while walking on a flex-leash.
My sister was walking her 2 Jacks..Juno and Roscoe down a sidewalk. A dog across the street barked. Both her dogs took off across the street. My sister tried to pull them both in.
A car hit Juno. Both leashes snapped. Roscoe made it to the other side and was unharmed but shaken up.
Flexi-leashes are a great tool but should not be used with two dogs, in risky areas, with little kids or with an untrained dog.
My sister is still in shock. Two nice ladies helped her get Juno to the vet. He was under a car and still alive but had to be put down. They held Roscoe for her. It happened across the street where she lived.
Juno was an escape artist. We will miss him.
