General FAQ
"Wait... if we're allowed to reply to any prompt, does that mean there will be more replies than prompts total?"
Essentially, YES! In the spirit of the holidays this exchange will be all about giving. Therefore multiple responses to prompts are encouraged. However, I will try my best to make sure every prompt has at least one fill.
"If I am going to reply to multiple prompts, can I submit more than one of my own?"
You can only submit one prompt. One of the only strict rules of this exchange.
"Does my story have to take place on Christmas?"
Umm, how about New Year's? Since this is a themed exchange, a mention, even a slight mention of the holiday season is gladly appreciated!
"When is the last day to submit a prompt?"
You have until 12/12/15 to submit your prompt. However, you're more likely to get multiple responses to your prompt if you post ASAP.
"Can I post my story before 01/04/16?"
Yes, of course.
"Do I post my story here?"
Nope. You post it as a public entry on your journal or online archive (fanfiction.net, ao3, etc). Just link your story as a reply to the prompt with the subject "Story". When the exchange is over, I will post a masterlist to this community.
"Can I get a message every time someone prompts?"
