So that’s almost it for June and the community’s first month, there should be a poll soon in order to select next month's theme.
However.
Our Booze theme, which I thought was a great theme, did not produce any responses (except maybe my own if I can finish it), despite some sparks of interest. So I thought we might have a community discussion as to why this was and whether it is worth me continuing.
So if you are a creator, what didn’t work for you?
If the prompts didn’t inspire you, what would you find inspiring? Note that the on-going plan for the community would be to include other types of prompts: song lyrics, music, pictures etc later on; should I have mixed them up?
Are the rules of the community too vague or constricting?
Do we not have enough people? Have I not promoted the community enough? (I fully admit this has never been my strong suit)
Should we add anything else, like short meta to the list of things creators can do?
Was the timing wrong? Were too many people caught up in exams, ficathons or other challenges etc? Would trying for another month or two work? Or should I keep going until the show starts up again at least?
