I would really appreciate an extension. Currently I am struggling with some real life stuff (my grandfather passed away this past weekend and I am struggling with my college classes just making me fall further and further behind). That has really made finding inspiration to finish writing the last few scenes of my fic next to impossible. I actually saw this post just as I was looking for the mod email so I could message to see about dropping out of the challenge completely. Honestly with the extension I am still not entirely certain I could finish with these real life hiccups getting in the way but it would give me more time to try and finish. I apologize for all of this but with a 1 or 2 week extension I could possibly have a fighting chance of finishing. Without the extension I will be forced to withdraw despite how much I do not want to. I'm the first to admit that this isn't fair to my artist with how disorganized I have been especially since they still haven't had a chance to read the climax of the story. Again I apologize for this but I was certainly not expecting this when I said I could finish the challenge on time.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss! There will definitely be an extension, I am thinking at least 2 weeks, please feel free to request the latest date in the posting schedule if you will need it.
Thank you so much. It's never easy to lose someone like this. With the extension I should be able to give it my all to get this thing finished. That is if my muse is cooperating with me. All this real life stuff has me in a real writing funk. However I will do my best to get it done. If I need to I will take you up on that offer. Thanks again. I really appreciate it.
