Life in Short (except not because it's life)

As of late I seem to have found myself with a bit of free time on my hands. I'm taking a quarter off of college and am staying in Southern California with my folks for three months. Why you might ask? Cause I managed to injure myself.
While driving home for Winter Break I got into a car accident and the consequent slide down a fifteen foot ditch managed to trash the inside of my car enough that my steering column, literally, fell into pieces and impacted my knee enough to break the top of the tibia into little pieces. So no weight on and no bending of the knee for three months which means I can't do ANYTHING by myself. I keep leaving my phone in the wrong room and I keep missing people's calls (I'm looking at you here ladyrandomness!).
BUT, since my free time has gone waaaaaaay up, this means I'll be able to work on fic! That is, if people even remember that it exists. XD However, if you think you might want to simultaneously help the people in Haiti AND get a kick-ass fic from me in the process containing anything of your choice (and I promise it'll rock, really--or at least it'll be really, really long to make up for it ^^!), then hop on over to community.livejournal.com/help_haiti/ where authors and editors and other fantastically talented people are offering up their services.
