Elena insists on attending the funeral and that Adam must go. Madeline concurs and it's a done thing.
Tissues litter the house. Their argument over the funeral is the driest she's been. Adam doesn't speak. Madeline says nothing about Adam.
Most of the women cry at the funeral and at the cemetery. Elena does.
Adam cries-in Elena's arms, holding Michael's hand-but doesn't speak.
Not until they're going home. "Why did they hurt everyone?"
To proof a biological weapon is not an answer for Adam, though it is public one and unclassified.
It's not the answer he's looking for.
