Not a Bad Week

Friday Night Lights:  This show just keeps setting the bar higher and higher every week.   I'm excited about the final 3 episodes of the season, but I'm really going to miss just seeing these characters every week.  The scene with the four guys on the football field with the music playing was my favorite of the season, but I won't be surprised if they top it again by the end of the season.  The Taylors were wonderful as usual, and I have to say that Tyra has really grown on me since the show started.  And the Buddy Garrity commerical was great too. I love how Applebee's is to FNL as Chili's is to The Office.

Lost-  It makes me nervous to say that I enjoyed an episode of Lost.  I guess I have trust issues, and for that Damon & Carlton, I'd like to personally thank you. But anyway, last night's episode felt like Lost and that's what I've been wanting for 10 months.  I enjoy Locke's insanity, and Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson were excellent.  When it comes to one-liners, Sawyer has got nothing on Ben. (And, I cannot wait to see Sun kick his ass next week!)  As for the Jack & Kate scenes, I was impressed.  It's amazing how much they have conveyed in just 3 scenes this season.  I can't help but still care about them, but it's time to end the triangle. One way or the other.   I just don't want to see Jack get hurt again, and for the sake of Kate's character, the flip-flopping really needs to stop.  Of course, TPTB don't have the guts to end it, but I can hope. And I can hope for one Jack/Kate scene by end of the season that isn't completely heartbreaking.

Other highlights of the week:
-Oswald and Danny chasing Phil off the mat on The Amazing Race
-Barney's dead-on Letterman-style Top 10 list
-the tribal mixup on Survivor...and by the way, the Lost episode description for "Left Behind" makes it sound like Probst is going to make an apperance to snuff Sawyer's torch
-the Marc-centric episode of Ugly Betty
