Musings about wings and other things
This new Icon makes me snicker. I had to do it, especially after going through the list of people Silverbolt is paired with. Outside the other Aerialbots, Skyfire is the only non-truck Silverbolt is paired with; Hot Spot, Motormaster, Optimus Prime, Trailbreaker...
However, I have to wonder, since Autobots are all ground-bound, and they'd see those like themselves primarily attractive, does this mean its only a kink/fetish if you're not like that? So Flyers can like other flyers all they want, but its not "wingkink" unless its a land-bound who loves flyers and vice versa? Why do I feel a sort of double-standards thing going on here?
I kinda wish November would hurry up and get here, I kidnapped a Springkink prompt and I've already finished it too.
Wings, oh such wonderful things they are, I'm happily writing a fic where Sandstorm discovers the subtleties of wing movement. Its fun to use themin such an expressive way. I'm also contemplating a Silverbolt/Motormaster fic, but I'll be taking a little while before I feel comfortable writing a new pairing.. But the thought of it is very entertaining...
