Episodes 5:17 and 5:18
5:17 I Will Follow You into the Dark.
Derek has hit rock bottom. The opening scene was great with everyone watching Derek wallow.
A Callie/Mark scene. I love it. I like their friendship but I really wish they would be a couple already.
Oh a cafeteria scene. These are like classic Grey’s. Izzie is killing me in this episode.
Alex is really become a really good doctor. I like how Owen and Arizona told him that he saved the girls life.
Chief is getting tough on everyone. Bailey is just getting on my nerves now… with this whole Chief won’t talk to me because I am trying for the ped’s fellowship.
Damn about the diagnosis for Izzie. She is a goner.
Oh Adele is back. I love her. She is that take charge woman.
Awwww I love what Alex said to Izzie. He is going to be heartbroken once he finds out that she might be dying.
I just hate Mark and Lexie together. They are just sooo miss matched.
I LOVE Callie… ha ha ha maybe. She told Arizona… yeah and then gave in just like that. They look like they can be a cute couple.
Damn the chief just blurts out that Derek has a ring and then Meredith confronts Derek probably at the worst possible time. Derek better pull it together.
WOW to the fact that Izzie picks Cristina to tell about her cancer. That is a big thing to saddle a person with.
5.18 Stand by Me
Must start with the fact that I loved Bailey asking Callie to go talk to Derek and her come back.
Callie: “ NO… Oh you want me to go into the the woods?! NO I don’t do woods. The woods are dirty and there are many many bugs.” Then her calling Bailey that she was kind of a bully.
Wow to the guy that is getting reconstructive surgery. That is just crazy. I like how they showed all 5 residence doing the run down on the patient.
Izzie is super touch now. Marking picking Lexie and Mer saying yes until she was told no the other Grey. That is messed up.
OMG I love that Callie went camping to try and get Derek back to the hospital ....too funny. Callie looks so good in this episode.
I love the story that Callie shared with Derek... it gives us some insight into her past medical dealings.
These new batch of interns are just crazy.
Cristina is so busy trying to get the best for Izzie that she is not paying attention to her patient. Cristina is usually on her game.
It’s a new batch of Intern drama. I love how Bailey called Mer and George out on their past drama.
I feel so bad for the guy getting the new face when his internet friends showed up to support him. They only meant well, but no one has ever seen him.
I love how Bailey told Owen that Torres fell off the grid. I like how Bailey talked him into going. Owen goes to try and get Derek back as well and it is like strike 2. I wonder who will get him back.
Cristina is right in being upset that Izzie blew off the appointment that she got for her. If she did not want help then why tell someone. She must have know that Crisitna would have done something to help her.
I love the whole scene with Bailey going to the Chief about how she sent the search and rescue team out to Derek and now she has not heard back as of yet.
I love that they guy who is getting a new face friends that came to support him only had beautiful things to say about him.
The chief came to shake things up at the trailer. Let’s see if it is strike three. Derek told the chief were he could stick it. I like how he stood his ground with Derek and tried to talk some sense into him.
It is just crazy that you can put a new face on someone like that. I am glad that his friends stuck by his side.
Cristina has grown as a surgeon... WOW I cannot believe she just blurted all that out about Izzie, I think she did that because she cares and wants others to know what is burdening Izzie.
Aww to the Izzie/Cristina moment at the end. I am glad that Izzie finally saw that Cristina has her best interest at heart.
Why would Lexie do that? I cannot stand her and Mark together.
I hope that Meredith coming and telling Derek about Izzie and that he is one of the few surgeons that can help her will jar him to come back to help Izzie... I really liked the closing voice over tonight. As much as I have hated Izzie since her cheating with George I am really glad that her friends rallied around her.
Next weeks episode looks SO GOOD!
