Guess I should update or something...
I keep forgetting to actually write in this thing, as I've been keeping my life updated on the internet at a different location. I won't say where, becaue I still have some sort of weird-ass "loyalty" to LiveJournal.
This weekend was Athfest. I saw a bunch of bands on Friday night from Madison County or somewhere like that. Good lord, they were fucking AWFUL. Like, imagine if Creed were still influential to a bunch of dudes and then give them all guitars and tattoos. Fucking terrible.
I did end up in the studio with my band over the weekend, and we have two new songs that are mostly completed. They sound pretty amazing. It's funny--I worry about people not responding to them because they don't sound much like we do live. But why would you want to duplicate a live show when you can add a Wurlitzer through a Space Echo box to one of your traxx?
