And you are WELCOME for getting that song stuck in your head.
Reading the new Red & Black today was a real treat. It's my opinion that the editors of the student-run "newspaper" at UGA should not be allowed to take a break, or at least should not be allowed to try and "catch all of us up" on the news that has already happened. Like today, the front page has a story about some frat boy with fifteen first names (Gene Whitner Colby Tyler Jackson III) getting arrested again for partying too hard. (The first time he partied too hard, someone died of a heroin overdose.) I was excited, because I get excited any time a frat boy gets arrested for what amounts to being a frat boy--until I realized this had already happened WEEKS ago. Why couldn't they do a back-page article on "Here's What You Missed, UGA" or something like that? Does all this really need to be front page news because they can't find the time to go out and do a little reporting before school starts back? Or what about doing something related to national news on the front page, or what about just fucking waiting a day until they have something to report? It's not like the Red and Black EVER has something substantial to say. All they do is put stupid stories about how unfair it is that it's hard to cross the street when cars are moving down it. That, or they put a story about how terrible the drinking problem is among students--right underneath a story about fun drinking games.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that the Red and Black sucks, so why do we even need a recap from them, of all people?
This is what happens when you live in a college town.
