Its official (again)
My roomate and I have watched too much Stargate SG1.
This past wednesday was Ash Wednesday, meaning a bunch of students were walking around with the ash cross on their foreheads that night. Well, Bradin and I were walking back to our dorm and said something along the lines of "Ben. Look at thier foreheads. what do you think about?"
I didnt respond, because whatever he had in mind would prolly be better than anything i would word, so he replied "the Jaffa have invaded Luther"
we laugh.
and then i get thoughtful about it and ask his opinion: "So is God the system lord with Jesus as his First Prime?"
"No, " he explains. "First Primes dont work miracles like Jesus did, healing people with his Goa'uld tech, removing people's demons (symbiots). And after having been tortured and crucified, his own symbiot would have taken days to fully repair the host before it could haul ass and go somewhere else."
makes sense to me; perhaps someday i'll have enough free time to sit down and write a little fanficish essay re: Jesus as a Goa'uld
