The above is my time off until May 26. I'm not really interested in banking any days this first year, but after this I'm going to strive to. I mean, every 180 sick days = 1 year of early retirement. Granted, it would take 36 years of service to pick up two full years worth of sick days, but I'll take my one plus a pension bump.
Anyway, I could technically have gone to school today. I don't feel bad at present, I'm super well rested, and I have stuff I need to accomplish at work today. Temperature is my normal 97.0. However, I have a personal policy that goes "if you throw up during the night, you don't have to go to work." Throwing up probably has something to do with food yesterday - either the Wang's take out or the Gus' Chicken my mom sprung on me last night. (Which, by the way, is fantastic.) Puke was of a reddish hue, consistant with both the color of Gus' chicken and the General Tso's Chicken sauce.
So, this has put me a little bit behind, but not too terribly much. I'll do a group activity for the class tomorrow and work on notices while they do that. Our school sub is taking my class rather than some random sub, so at least I know shit won't me in chaos when I get to work tomorrow.
I really should have gone to work. Instead, I'll call the Credit Union. Maybe I'll puke again. That'd make me feel better, at least. (In terms of guilt, that is.)
Next breaks:
February 17-20th.
March 13-17th.
April 14th.
I think I'll make it.
