(no subject)
The Tookster was big news today, so I got the share my extensive knowledge of the capital punishment with some of my classes. Naturally, they all thought it was a bad call. I happen to agree with them, but their positions were not nearly as nuanced as my own.
Funny thing from work:
Student: "So, what kind of white music do you like?"
Me: "White music? I only like white music." (beat) "In fact, I only like white people."
So, been depressed recently, except for those times I've been with rougefeu. My house is slow entropy in action because I never feel like doing anything that isn't sitting around on my ass being mopey. Or watching TV or playing videogames, which are really just a more active way of being mopey*. Been feeling bad for not being productive, but no sign of the Spark seems to remain. Of course, the nature of the Spark is that it's kind of mercurial, but my almost total non-desire to read isn't doing me any favors.
Came up with something that would make a good comic book, maybe, but I can't draw.
*Except watching Lost, which is like my weekly eight-ball of pure euphoria.
