Favourite anime opening
A quick post before I go to sleep, a brief discussion post.
What is your favourite anime opening sequence? Sometimes you have a kick ass opening visual, but a shitty ass song. Example, the opening to Ergo Proxy:
OK, to be fair the song isn't shitty, I just don't think it suits the series.
Flipside, you could have an awesome song, but shitty visuals. I can't think of an example right now so I hope you get the point.
No what I'm asking is what you think is the best combination of both song and visual sequence. Here are some of my favourites:
Red Faction || Opening to Black Lagoon
Girls on Film || Speed Grapher
Opinions are obviously going to be swayed by factors such as taste in music, or whether you thought the series was shitty or not. This is a very subjective topic, so I'm curious to see what people come up with =)
