When we got bored at Karaoke
So being the Linkin Park fanboy that I am, I put in "New Divide" on at karaoke last we went. It got boring, then someone (I think it was Steve) pointed out that "New Divide" and "What I've done" is really the same song. So as the music played, and we hit the chorus, we sang "What I've done"
Hilarity ensured
So here someone has taken the backing music to "New Divide" and put in the vocals from "What I've done"
And here the opposite
The funny thing is that the comments show that the discussion of the mashup of these two seemingly mirrored songs is rife. The interesting thing is that the key is slightly different, and if you go and search you find some not-so-nice sounding ones where someone has made an ass hash of the whole thing after playing around and trying to key match.
Still, this means I don't have to hunt down the clean tracks and mash it up myself ...
