It appears that Blizzard has recanted their position. I am heartily relieved, though I'm still not sure how much my faith in their corporate identity has been damaged. However, after all the ranting I did, I feel it's only fair to say that they DID reverse themselves before doing irreparable damage. So, I still think they're more than a little dumb for even THINKING it would be okay, but at least they're not both insane and deaf.

Thank you, Blizzard, for stopping this before it became reality.
