i found a new job. i start tomorrow. it's at a real estate development/property management company in manayunk. i'm going to be the ceo's personal assistant/office manager!! it pays $13/hr now but in january it goes permanent and i'll have a $45,000 salary plus full benefits and 401k and all that fun stuff. also, he's going to train me so that later on i can take over a different position either in sales and marketing or pr or something else. and he pretty much said that once i fill a different position i'll probably be making a lot more money. like a lot more! it's a new company with a multi million dollar real estate portfolio so he's hiring a young staff to give it a different edge over the bigger corporate companies. he said i'd be travelling a lot with him and learning everything he knows about business. so yeah, i'm super super excited! and i'm actually looking forward to working there. usually when i get a new job, i'm just happy that i'll be making money, but this feels different. i actually want to go in and learn and this is such a great opportunity and i'm so lucky to have found it so i'm going to take complete advantage of everything that's being offered!
heather and i are also probably going to start going back to school soon once everything gets adjusted. i'm excited about that too!
the lease is up in august. we're thinking about either moving back to jersey or to the burbs in pa. not sure yet. i'm super excited about everything that's been going on!
