My list of motivators

Jan 01, 2006 17:35

Here we go.

  • I want to have an hourglass shape. None of this triangular crap anymore.
  • I want to be able to wear clothes from Old Navy or the Gap. (I'm not saying I will, but I want to be able to.)
  • I want to wear a "normal" size -- as in, not Plus.
  • I want to have my breasts stick out farther than my stomach, both when I stand and when I sit.
  • I want to be able to walk a 5K in under 50 minutes.
  • I want to be able to run without it hurting.
  • I want to be able to climb stairs without my knees grinding together.
  • I want to not walk into the Maternity section of a store, see something, and think "hey, that might help cover up my Problem Area #217".
  • I want to walk up the one flight of stairs to my apartment without losing my breath.
  • I want to walk up the two flights of stairs at work without losing my breath or getting dizzy.
  • I want to sleep through the night without needing Tylenol PM to stay asleep. (I can usually get to sleep OK, but I wake up after about 3-4 hours and stay awake if I don't take something.)
  • I want to feel attractive.
  • I want to have people look at me as though I'm attractive. Shit, I wouldn't mind a cat-call or wolf-whistle, as long as I knew it was at me.
  • I want to wear bikini underwear without it rolling down.
  • I want to wear a bathing suit without wanting shorts.
  • I want to be able to have a more athletic sex life.
  • I want to be able to see food and not start to obsess about having it (or other food).
  • I want to wear a skirt without worrying about my thighs rubbing together, my stockings chafing, or being too sweaty.
  • I want to not sweat when it's 70 degrees outside.
  • I want to show up my sister.
  • I want to show my family that I don't have to be fat.
  • I want to show my family that I care about myself and my health.
  • I want to be able to buy lingerie for myself at Victoria's Secret.
  • I want to fly on an airplane without needing or wanting a seat-belt extender.
  • I want to ride in a car without the seat belt choking me because it rides up over my stomach.
  • I want to be able to touch my toes with my legs straight out in front of me.
  • I want to tie my shoes without struggling to cross my legs to reach.
  • I want to be able to cross my legs "like a lady" (with my knees touching) instead of "like a guy" (with one foot on the other knee).
  • I want to be able to play outside with my son.

I will add more if I think of them.
