[[Autor is sitting at his painted piano, playing a rousing piano version of Beethoven's 9th Symphony. He winces slightly when he has to go above middle G or so, but otherwise he seems to be playing quite well, even for him. There's even a certain flourish in his music that hasn't been there recently.
He has no idea if she'll show up, but he wants to at least let her know he's okay.]]

Also, Beethoven's 9th Symphony contains the melody of "Ode to Joy" in the last movement, which is about where Autor is right now. :D]]
