It's so weird, but Monday's become a bit of a blur. Combination of hectic activity resulting in tiredness and some tipsy-ness. I was trying to remember who left the cherries in my fridge. Who are you? Thank You anyway.
The difference between a pressure cooker and a normal rice cooker is that a pressure cooker makes tastier rice. Apparently if you know how to use one you can cook a lot of other things too. Do I give a donkey's arse? Not really. But I guess it does for my mum so there you have it.
I have too many things crammed into this week. Why does it all have to happen all together?
I went shopping for like an hour before all the stores closed. I finally got the first Shins album and the new Gladiator dvd. I'm going to the city sometime to do a more extended trip. Created wants, comsumerism. How we do get sucked in by these giant corporations. Perhaps that's why my ambitions in marketing have dissapated. Cos let's face it, marketing is basicly a form of deception (in most cases).
The extended cut of Gladiator isn't too different. There's one scene that I especially dislike cos it veers a bit too much and the cutting looks a bit shoddy. The seamlessness isn't quite on par with say the LOTR extended cuts. Though the real reason to buy this dvd is the brilliant behind the scenes doco and the audio commentary. How I love commentaries. But if you really love this movie you should probably own the Collector's edition (with the original cut) as well. What really sucks is the US 3 disc version has the extended cut and the original cut on the first disc, where as we only get the Extended. Damn American bastards.
The Shins album is great even though their second one is probably a teeny bit better... in my opinion.
