I haven't written in this thing in a while.
Alan let me borrow The Catcher in the Rye and The Rum Diary and a shit-ton of CDs that he's borrowing from a friend of his. I started reading The Catcher in the Rye last night. I'm only on chapter 6, but I realllly like it.
Hey, let me borrow some of your books.
The only class I ever really go to is media law. I skipped geology last night because I took a way-too-long nap and felt like shit when I woke up, and I didn't want to be put in an even worse mood. I really, really hate that class. Social work is really a good class. I like my teacher a lot. But I found out on Tuesday that, even though it's crosslisted as a women's studies class, it doesn't count as a social science elective because the only other social science I need is a non-US, non-Western European history or political science. But at that point, it was too late to withdraw because Tuesday was the first day of WF.
Other than that, work is ok. The girl they promoted decided that working in the office was too hard, and the lady they were going to promote quit because she had 3 no-call no-shows in one week and was going to get fired anyway. So things are looking up. There's a guy named Philippe who's transferring from Two Notch. He's French, or his parents are, or something.
Time to get ready for school.
