So, it's been a while. Yes, quite a while. In my last entry, I had the trip from hell to Michigan. Since then, I've returned to Michigan for the full two week trip. I had plans to either visit friends in southwestern Michigan or near Cleveland. Decisions, decisions. Well, mother nature took care of that for me. IT SNOWED! In MAY! So I set the laptop to download the latest version of Roxio. Took 16 hours.
I flew home to Rhode Island on Saturday, spent 16 hours at home and then flew to Seattle on Sunday. I finally got to meet my little sister!! (For those who find that statement odd, you'll have to ask. Maybe I'll post the twisted, gnarled, bizarre family tree story in the future.) The class there didn't go as well as I'd like, but I've gotten good reviews from the Field Service Manager there. I also got to spend Thursday evening my sister and my nephew! We had pizza and played a little pool. (Now let's see if I can remember how to link to a picture here.)
Boy, I hope that works.
I got back from Washington exhausted. Since then, I've been preparing for the Rhode Island classes. First one went ok, but the software is a mess and I'm not so sure the thing is going to be ready for release at the end of the month. I have one more session next week.
Looks like I'll be headed out to California (again) the first week of August. It's going to be a short trip and VERY busy. I'm not sure I'll get to San Marcos on Sunday evening (I'd like to), but that will depend on the travel department. Seems somebody in the company has been spending too much, so they're cracking down. I'll be in Brea for two and a half days, then off to Sacramento for two days. That's it. Oh, the following week is vacation out to Denton, Texas. (I know girls, what could possibly take me BACK to Texas. Annie and I have friends there!)
Ok, I'm tired. One more day in the office. Stuff to do.
OH! The Blue Angels are in town for the air show this weekend. They were out practicing today. Yes, that means flying RIGHT OVER MY APARTMENT!! Seriously considering going Sunday.
