Goodbye friend
Thank you all who attended Steve's service this morning. It was touching to see how many people came. It was great to see the girls he coached in softball, boys from Boys scouts, All the cowboys... : ) I know there were many of you who were not able to come but you were there in spirit.
I have all the confidence that when we re-unite he will smile, hand me a fishing pole and say " you are not going to believe how good fishing is here, and the beer is always cold"
Words can not express how much I am going to miss my friend.
I took this picture of him last year when they predicted he would not survive pass Thanksgiving. He showed them. But I did not know he would last another year at the time and I wanted to have a snap shot of my friend that would be how can can remember him. It turned out to be the last time I fished with my friend but it was the must special of all. I appreciated every second with him.
