The plan for today: write fic I began while in Tokyo; What actually happened today: wrote ONE paragraph... watched (read distracted by) TxN videos, watched (read distracted again by) BuriMyu clips, read your lovely TxN fic. *sigh* Need more days in the weekend.

I like these slice of life fics, because we kind of get the craziness of the shows and the behind the scenes and the like from personal witness of it, reports and DVD's, but life beyond, and more the deeper root of their connection to one another, it's kind of a mystery except for what we write and read and hope are things that can/could/have happened in their lives.

Favorite line/part:

Tuti looks down into Takashi's hair, and then up and over it-a random ad for English lessons, a commercial for a travel agency, complete with images of lush beaches and palm trees, miles from this crowded train--and when he turns his attention back to the man next to him, Takashi is leaning over, and speaking quietly into his ear, hand clutching at the strap of Tuti's messenger back to steady himself as the car slides to a stop, and the doors open.

The description leading up to Takashi speaking... man, my heart clenched probably about as tightly as Takashi's hand clutching Tuti's messenger bag strap. I don't know... I just liked this a lot, the closeness that is complete acceptable given the circumstances and how much those circumstances are more than welcomed because they don't have to be careful when what they really want to be is close. Yeah, and Takashi's line that follows... so... lovely. It's like one of those moments where even he is surprised to be admitting this, much less feeling it. It's almost like Maharaja Mode has reminded them of what they love most about acting together, but now that they've reached this moment in their lives, this level of success, they no longer have to wait for fate to bring them together anymore.

That's the one thing I really liked about this fic: the idea of them working together, and wanting to continue working together. I mean, in general, people who are dating just should not do it. It's not healthy to spend that much time together, BUT... that is only in normal circumstances where normal dating people are nearly tied at the hip after hours, but Tuti and Takashi... they are lucky to see each other sleeping while they are working on separate projects, so the occasions when they do get to work together... it's almost like a vacation from a dating desert... or something like that... if that makes any sense. *sigh*

Thanks for sharing... and distracting me further from what I had planned to do today.

It totally makes sense, what you said about the dating desert and all of that. ^_~ I don't think I ever really thought of it that way before, but you're totally right about how in usual circumstances, working together as a couple isn't always the best idea, but with them, you're totally right--the time they spend together on set, or at rehearsals or backstage, those are probably some of the most meaningful, just because there isn't that much time outside of that for them to connect. It sort of gives this all a new meaning, for me, thinking of it like that so... THANK YOU. For giving me a fresh look~ :D

I'm really glad you liked the fic too, and actually that paragraph on the train with the messenger bag is one of my favorites too. <333 So it made me happy you pointed that out. XD I love those little intimate moments though, and I think I love them even more when they're happening in public, you know? *_*

...I do feel bad about distracting you though. XD;;; I'm very curious about this fic you started in Tokyo too. *__* Is it senshuuraku fic? XD

Don't feel bad... I think I left my muse back in Tokyo :\ And oddly enough, the fic has absolutely nothing to do with shnshuuraku, which for me isn't much of a surprise. I get inspired by and about the oddest things sometimes, and never the obvious ;D

Mou, I'm sorry to hear that about your muse. :/ I've had that happen before too though, where I come back from a trip and just can't get back into it. Hopefully your muse will come back soon though~ ;__; I'm curious about these strange inspirations!
