IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN 8DDDDDD
...Ooooooooookay, since the boys have started posting pictures of each other (!!!) and all circumstantial evidence points to the obvious...I'm gonna go ahead and make this post 8D Despite an "official" announcement not being out yet.
It's 95% likely that right now, Tuti and Nagayan are together filming...ANOTHER SHIBATORA SPECIAL 8D
Or series, who knows. But it's almost definitely ShibaTora again, as all of the people associated with it have been posting pics of the same wintry landscape (here, here, and here) and catering food (here and here), and Tuti helpfully hinted the other day that he was filming a drama with "an actor I had a senshuuraku together with the other day" aaaaaand finally, Nagayan here, rocking a suit like he wore on the last ShibaTora special :P
All of this, combined with knowing comments to their blogs from dedicated fans about how "that team is getting started again huh!" and all are heavily, heavily hinting that they're all filming for either a TV special (like last year's...which coincidentally filmed at the EXACT SAME TIME one year ago) or--god help us all--a new series. I'm kind of pretty much FLOORED that Tuti and Nagayan, who were only very small roles, were popular enough to bring back...and at the same time, I want to kind of puff out my chest and go, "Well duh~" :P
So, yes. There's of course a teeny tiny chance that this could all fall flat, and if or when it does...mea culpa in advance for getting your hopes up, but now that Nagayan's posting pictures of Tuti looking like he's just seen a ghost on a train car together with Nagayan in the middle of the day, well. I just don't care if I'm wrong, anymore :P
If this pans out like the last one did, we can probably look for an air-date some time in May. Buzz around the Intarwebs is that this will be officially announced in early March. At which point I'll probably make another impassioned post 8D
For now, though, GET EXCITED. THEY'RE ALREADY HANGING OUT AGAIN.
Bonus awesome: they in all likelihood knew about this before BuriMyu ended, so it probably wasn't as sad for them on that note, as they at least knew they'd get this in the near future~~~~
