"Some Day I'll Recover From This Weekend"

Sep 02, 2007 17:42

Over the past few days, few weeks, I have touched Nagayama Takashi, shaken a hand that I really have no idea where it's been, spoken to him, had Tuti tell me thank you, and sat there in that audience with my eyes peeled for any little touch, glance, anything.

So, let me start at the beginning. Jamie's sitting next to me in this net cafe writing likely the same thing I am, but will it really kill you to read the same thing twice? Of course not--you people need to hear this a LOT :D

*pnish* newbie Meg spent the night with me Friday night after we stayed up til 3 AM again watching BuriMyu and *pnish* plays. I checked the Aru Hi blog the next morning when she was about to go back home and commented, "Ooh lookie, they have day^of tickets still for sale at the theater!"

Her response? ".......Iwannagowithyou." So with that said we departed for Kobe together for her very first play, barely two weeks after learning of these guys' existence. Me, jealous? YES. I had to wait YEARS to see them >_> Ah well~

We actually got a little lost, and after finally hopping a cab to the theater we were in the lobby, getting her ticket while Nagayan was inside delivering his opening monologue XDDDDD There were definitely cameras filming, but apparently they were broadcasting what was inside the theater to a screen situated outside. Whether or not this was ALL the cameras were for I'm not sure. I REALLY hope they recorded KLM *_____*

After the show, we hung around in the lobby area to catch our breath, because you HAVE to after a show like that. After about ten minutes though, a lady came up to me waving--it was Mitsuru!! And happy day, Asami-san was with her too! We both expressed our intense love for the guys, the show, and said we'd talk again the next day after senshuuraku.

The theater people herded us all out towards the station, which is actually connected to the theater, so we asked Mitsuru if she knew if there was going to be demachi, and she didn't, and hopped on her own train for the evening. I knew I had to stay at the theater, because I was waiting for analineblue to get there, and had told her we'd see demachi together.

Meg and I waited for about 45 minutes, and meanwhile a crowd formed around us, until there were about 60 or 70 girls all milling around in front of the theater. The reason? DEMACHI! We all lined up suddenly because someone saw something, and sure enough ALL FOUR GUYS came out at once, walking at quite a brisk pace. Tuti and Nagayan were pretty much walking side by side, with Tsumura and Nakamura bringing up the back.

Unlike at Tokyo, however, there was no lovely alone time with Nagayan, and all four guys walked past quite quickly, though Nagayan was quite determined to slow down the pace and thank everyone. He stared at Meg and me for more than a moment, likely because we were the only foreigners there, but then they were all off to the station.

After the theater people let us go (content we weren't going to chase them down) we headed back towards the station slowly, still waiting for Jamie. Who came running after us literally 5 minutes later. THE POOR THING HAD MISSED NAGAYAN BY 5 MINUTES.

...And she proceeded to remind us of that all night XD ♥ It's okay, though, today definitely made up for it :D

I'm going to write a long thorough review of this play later, definitely, but right now I'm riding on a post-senshuuraku high, GOD.

This morning Jamie and I got to the theater in PLENTY of time, and so we got to our AWESOME seats and waited a good 30 minutes for the show to start. Now, here's the deal--in Tokyo, because of how Space Zero is set up, Nagayan entered from the audience, standing in the middle of everyone doing his opening monologue.

Unfortunately, the Hyogo Performing Arts center doesn't have that kind of setup. There's nowhere to enter from the audience. Since we saw him do his monologue from the stage the night before, I assumed that's what he would be doing.

The start buzzer buzzed, and the lights started to dim to complete darkeness. For some reason, I turned my head just to the left, and the DOOR ON THE SIDE OPENED. AND SOMEONE WALKED IN.

AND YES.

NAGAYAMA TAKASHI DELIVERED HIS OPENING MONOLOGUE FROM A POSITION CLOSE ENOUGH FOR US TO LITERALLY REACH OUT AND TOUCH HIM.

I couldn't breathe the whole time he did it. We were close in Tokyo, yeah, BUT NOT THAT CLOSE. Seeing him...standing there in that spotlight just...sdfsjkfhlsiufhsidfushdlifsd

As for the show itself, unfortunately nothing REALLY out of the ordinary happened as far as the play went. But then, we weren't really in a position to see much, so I'll leave the good stuff for Mitsuru to update, and pass it along later ^_~ She definitely had better seats :D

At the end of the show, usually, they all came out together and bowed, then each of them came out alone and bowed, and in the end they all came together again for a final bow.

This time, though, because it's senshuuraku, it couldn't be normal XD They did their first group bow and separate bows, followed by the normal final bow as usual. But as they all came out for that last bow, everyone in the auditorium stood up and gave them a STANDING OVATION XDDDDD

Tuti was so embarrassed for it, and kept telling everyone to sit down, but he had the BIGGEST smile on his face. This play really meant a lot to him, he said in his blog, and looking at that I completely believe it.

The guys left, but the audience kept clapping in rhythm, and after a minute they all came out AGAIN for another bow, then left. The speaker came on to tell everyone the show was over, but still the audience stayed seated continuing to clap. It was at least another five minutes before the guys FINALLY gave in and came out one final time. Tuti waited for the clapping to quiet down a little and gave the basic thank you, "本日はどうもありがとうございました!" (Thank you very much for coming today) and with one final bow, the show was over ;_;

It was only after we left the theater today that I realized Aru Hi really IS over. After three long months (well really, four YEARS for fandom) we finally got to see this show, and...god, it was just amazing. I feel like no review I can give will do it justice, but hopefully it'll be good enough to tide you all over til the DVD comes out.

We waited around for demachi again, and it was a little more organized this time. The guys all came out together again, Tuti leading the pack and looking VERY hot in this tanktop he had on. He paused as he neared the end of the line to shout back, "*pnish*に来てね!" ("Come see *pnish*!") and then everyone was off to the station. Well, almost everyone. Nagayan got to the end of the line and then TURNED AROUND and came back XD He actually kind fo turned to the side to say hi to some people who hadn't had room to stand at the end of the line XD Everyone cracked up, and you know how happy THAT made Nagayan feel XDDDDD

We're updating right now from a net cafe, about to track down a Starbucks, and then I'll be off back home :( It was too short a time! We had a BLAST though.

And oh, those pictures everyone's getting all excited about that Tuti posted? Both his post from September 1st abd hsi post from today, September 2nd were made within 20 minutes of the show ending XDDDDD The man is amazing.

Also, because this post can't end without something AMAZING being revealed--from Mitsuru's blog a mere couple of days ago:

そう言えば拍手から情報を頂いていたんですが、ケンヌがラジオで「清水宏さんのライヴ(トテがブログに書いてた)に行ったら、偶然に一緒に来ていた土屋さんと永山さんに会った」と暴露してくれたようですね!

August 31 -- "That reminds me, this is something I learned during the applause at the end of the show [from a fellow fan], but the other day on Kenn's radio show, he revealed, 'When I went to Shimizu Hiroshi-san's live [which Tuti wrote on his blog about going to himself] I ran into Tsuchiya-san and Nagayama-san who had come together!'" <--yes, specifically said they CAME TOGETHER.

...I love life, people.

Report coming later!! After I cool down *________*
