Some Day We'll Meet Again in Our Dreams
Starring: Tsuchiya Yuuichi, Nagayama Takashi, Nakamura Yuuichi (D-Boys), Tsumura Shiriyoshi (Modern Swimmers)
Dates: [Tokyo] August 11-19, 2007 :: [Hyougo] September 1-2, 2007
Yes. That is the entire cast. Four guys. Get excited, people: this is THE most intimate cast the two have ever been a part of. And the best part? They'll be the two members who know each other best. This means lots of blog pictures together (...we hope XD;;; *has probably just jinxed it* SORRY.), lots of entries in which the names "tuti" or "takashi" come up repeatedly, and even if we DON'T get first-hand reports of it, they WILL be in rehearsals together. Another fun factoid: This play will be performed exactly 4 years after their first time on stage together! (The Tsuika Kouen of the first TeniMyu performance ran August 7-8 in Tokyo and August 13-15, 2003, in Osaka) What a way to ring in that anniversary, boys! ♥
I'm having trouble finding out exactly what this play is about, but apparently it's very popular in being performed. There were performances by other groups as recently as late last year. It's a 4-person play, and the fact that I've found multiple reviews painting it as multiple things tends to make me think a lot of this play is up to the director (as far as making it a comedy or drama). Until I can find further information, I don't want to say much, but the basics are that it involves cop/robber characters.
Get EXCITED, people, I know I am! I'm gonna be trying super hard to get tickets to this thing (at least twice: once to allow myself permission to faint from seeing them for the first time, and then another to actually pay attention XD;;;;) as it will be the first event coming up when I arrive in August ♥
