Title: TxN! The Musical!
Author: Shy_Vi
Rating: G (worksafe)
Word Count: 3,740, give or take
Author's Notes: For some odd reason, even though I have compiled somewhere close to 50 songs for the entire plot of the musical, for this scene, I could not find one that applied. Hence the reason this took so long to complete, and post. (And I don't really ( Read more... )

:DDDDDDD

I was wondering why I was still awake. Then I saw this on my f-list, and the reason became suddenly clear. ♥

The title of the post made me giggle -- was the Mamo reference intentional? :D

So, I totally had to go watch Kaidoh's part of the picture thing when I saw who you were saying the old guy was. And...you're right, it does look like Nagayan. That jawline, it looks just like him. Gah! That's crazy, and hilarious. :D I guess they had to find someone small? And Kimeru probably refused :D

Heehee, but, of course Tuti would know it's him. :D

THE FRIES THING KILLED ME. ♥ ♥ ♥

And MoriEiji and Naoya are crazy~ They have awesome chemistry as Momo and Kaidoh. ♥

Aww, Tuti worrying about Oishi's reputation :( I agree with him though, about it being out of character. (And that's not just 'cause I hate Tezuka/Oishi with a passion...I think :D)

Poor Nagayan. He's always picking up creepy stalkers, isn't he? Although the fact that he brought TakiEiji upon himself amuses me :D

But hmmm, I wonder if Tuti's really as oblivious as Nagayan thinks he is~ ♥

Um...I think that's all the little comments I wanted to make while I was reading. :D I rewatched Eiji's slideshow too while I was reading, and it still makes me giggle, even after seeing it at least 10 times. ♥ (Also, Tuti looks really good during that scene. Really, really good. I felt the need to share this observation. :D)

Anyway. YAY! I still love this to pieces. ♥ Very, very much looking forward to the next part! ♥

^___^ Oh, watching the DL1 always brings a smile to my face. And doing some of the analyzing for this thing has brought new details to my attention. Like at the beginning of Act II, during "The Regulars"? When they do the flail-y arms movement? Have you ever just watched Tuti during that part? Everyone else is just waving their arms, and he totally busts a move... and he grins like a fiend while he's doing it. ^____^ Warms my little fangirl heart...

And I agree with you. He looks really, REALLY good. And I love the jersey he's wearing, too.

Ahem! *clears throat* Anyway, I'm glad you still love it! ^_^ And yes, the Mamo reference was intentional. (the file on my 'puter is called "TxN! The Musical! Too!!" XD)

...Actually, I've watched the entire thing only paying attention to Tuti. :D *is a dork* There are several places where he does things just a bit differently from everyone else. :D Plus, his facial expressions are just not to be missed. ♥

Watching DL1st now ("now" being a relative term :D), it amazes me that I didn't notice the first time I saw it how ridiculously attractive Tuti is. Of course, the first time I watched it I had never found any Japanese guys attractive before...although at some point during the musical I declared that "that guy playing Eiji" was adorable. :D It wasn't until after I "got to know" Tuti some that I started to realize how good-looking he is. And so now when I watch it, it's like gah, what was wrong with me...

Anyway. Yay Mamo! :D

*decides to take a moment to fangirl Tuti, because it is her favorite activity*

The first time we watched it, we were all about Sota and Abe. If they hadn't been so cute with the Shiny Sparkle Song, we would have never even watched the second half. And I became a certified Kimeru fangirl after watching him sing "Make You Free."

But during my YouTube addiction, when I sat down and watched anything TeniMyu I could get my grubby little hands on (XD) I stumbled across the DL1 photo shoot segment, and I had to watch the Golden Pair part again... and that's when I started digging. I found the Burimyu. I found the HunterxHunter and *pnish* and damn I could watch Tuti dance forever...

^__^ And then there was the blog post. The first one of his that I ever read (and by that I mean, the first translation by Fencer that I ever read) he made such an actor comment... and I am a sucker for an actor who will talk about his process. ^__^

But anyway. His birthday's tomorrow, and my friends convinced me not to make him a card. (Not that he'd be able to read it anyway. ^^;)

*joins in the fangirling* It's one of my favorite activities too. :D

The Momo/Kaidoh part was what hooked me. I knew nothing of the actors, but that scene was enough to make me get past the silly singing and dancing and appreciate DL1st for what it was -- fanservice. :D And then the GP part of the photo session about killed me.

At the time, I didn't really know about YouTube, so I didn't even think to look stuff up on there...but I did read a summary-thing of some of the musicals and their backstages (on a site that no longer exists :( ), and I kept seeing one name over and over again: "Tuti." (I particularly remember reading about him screaming when Ichitarou stuck the breadstick in his soup in the backstage for the first musical. I wanted to see that. :D)

I first discovered Fencer's blog translations when she translated the interview with Oishi and Eiji's voice actors about the OAV. Someone put a link on the Golden Pair community, and after I read the interview I started reading some of the blog entries...Tuti's entries around that time were all crazy and random, so I liked him right away. :D And wow, that was almost a year ago...♥

Anyway. Heehee, if you kept it simple I'm sure he'd be able to read it! He could read "Happy Birthday," at least. ♥ If it wasn't the day before his birthday, I'd say go for it~
