Cosplay Chess
I made cosplay chess for Anime Next!
I'm so excited I'm not supposed to tell you which character I'll be or who the other pieces are. Sorry. Can't ruin the surprise yet.
I CAN say that I'm super super excited. I did chess last year as Squall from FFVIII and it was so much fun. If you ever get the chance to be in a cosplay chess match, I highly recommend it. It's really fun to have all these characters from different sources in one place interacting with each other. And at the same time, you don't have to worry about your costume or prop being ruined because it's at least somewhat rehersed so no one gets hurt.
In any case, I can't wait for next weekend now. If you're going to Anime Next on Sunday, come check out chess. It should be fun. Plus, what the hell else are you going to do on Sunday? It's always dead, so you might as well go see the one big event going on that day, right?
