I am amused

So I was walking home from the kyukyu a few minutes ago. I was probably about 3/4 of the way home when some guy on a scooter went past. I saw him kinda turn around and figured he was just checking out the foreigner (which happens pretty much every second of every day). But then he turned around and actually rode back toward me.

Turned out to be a young, and not bad looking, guy. He asked me for directions, which I did my best to explain in a mix of Japanese and English. But then... he just kept riding along side me. Not speeding up enough to actually go past. And he started asking me things like how old I was and how long I'd been here, is Japanese difficult, etc.

I guess I should be creeped out, but, like I said, he wasn't bad-looking. And my creep senses weren't going off. He just seemed like a very bold guy.

I am highly amused by all this though and had to write it down to keep myself from sitting around giggling like a weirdo (and scaring the roommate). Plus, I've been fighting myself all day about whether or not I should stay here in spring. Maybe this was a sign? But I'm not sure what it would mean... Run because there are semi-creepy dudes on scooters? Or stay because it's super fun?
