i stopped at the grocery shop tonight after work + while i didn't see my produce crush or my policeman crush, i did see one of my favorite people that works there: ali. he is perhaps 65 years old + always gives me a huge sweet smile when he sees me. let me tell you a true story about ali -- this also makes me happy. i read it in our daily newspaper a few years back. with me own eyes. basically, the gist is this: i am not the only one who thinks this ali is nice. i guess a regular customer {never named in the article} had some familiarity with ali from shopping at this same grocery. on one visit, customer asked ali what ali would like to do. ali answers: he'd like to take his wife to the holy land. guess what?! the next week this customer came in + gave ali a 10,000$ check + said "take your wife to the holy land!". so they went! oh! i know that money doesn't buy happiness -- but to have big money so that i could do things like this!
anyway...
