"I wonder why you called me too early,” Jin yawned then held his cup of coffee.
“Do you know Koyuki well?” Tatsuya speak out, still gazing at his coffee.
The man sitting in front him smiled and stared outside the window of the shop “Koyuki Mirai. Pure Japanese from Tokyo and moved to America and continued to study medicine. She’s recently a physician. My girlfriend and never been married,” he proudly presented things he knew about Koyuki, proving that he knew his girlfriend well.
Tatsuya elevated his eyes and looked straightly upon Jin’s eyes “What if she does?”
“What did you mean?”
“All your infos are right except one.” He paused for a while and bit his lip. “She’s already married with another man for nineteen years and she moved here because they wanted to settle and raise their child in America as she continues studying,” he revealed, knowing that Jin is just a victim of the older woman, he made Jin to believe her the mask of being pure that she’s wearing.
Jin’s smile instantly erased “How could you say such thing? You don’t know her,” he knows that Tatsuya is lying, he’s lying. Koyuki wouldn’t ever tell a lie to him because Koyuki loves Jin and she promise to be honest with him.
“Stop lying to me Tatsuya,” Jin gritted his teeth “Don’t you ever accuse Koyuki for that… you don’t have the right---“
“I have because she’s my aunt,” he uttered, firmly and hoping that Jin will wake up from the woman’s trick. “And you’re destroying the family that helped me to have the life I’m having now,”
“I don’t believe you.” His eyes displayed his intense affection towards the older woman which scares Tatsuya, “ an I don’t care as long as I have her.”

“Tadaima,”
Koyuki took off her shoes and replace them with slippers as she went inside. Seemed empty. Where he is? She resumed to pace and scanned the apartment. She went to the kitchen and a grin was appeared to her face. She make paces closer to the man, encircling her arms behind him who’s in concentration of tossing the meat in the pan.
He turned off the stove and turn around, facing her as he wrapped his arms. “I thought you wouldn’t come home,” he whispered with broken voice.
“Sorry, I just have many things to do and---“
“Koyuki please tell me,” Jin move to caught her orbs, gulped before he talked, “Is true that you’re…. a-already married?”
The older woman’s eyes filled with tears instantly. She saw the pain that Jin had within his eyes. Jin already knew the truth and might be Tatsuya was the one who told him. The air she was inhaling decreased and her heartbeats getting faster. Fear eaten her being. She was afraid that Jin will leave her. She could accept if he would blow his top and disgrace her, but not to leave.
She was stunned as Jin wiped her tears with his thumb “I’m sorry Jin… I lied, I shouldn’t be but I’m afraid that you will take away yourself from me,”
Jin yanked her closer “Remember what I’ve told to you? As long as you’re here even you’re lying… I don’t care,” She’s his greatest possession in his life.
They’d be through many enough for Jin to prove to himself that he’s head over heels to the older woman. He can’t take her back wherever she belongs before him.
Koyuki placed her palms into her lover’s cheeks and leaned her forehead against his “Jin you already hold my heart… my present and my future is already yours I want to live with you… far from this kind of city… I wanted to see ourselves just gazing from a distance… just gazing at this city where we are standing right now,”
“I love you Koyuki…. I don’t care if they would castigate me as a selfish one… I don’t care since the only thing that I have here is you,” Jin closed his eyes, feeling the warm breath coming from his older lover.
“Let’s meet in the restaurant near the hospital, I’ll just need to come home to see my son for the last time and we’ll move far away from here after… away from Everyone who know us…”

Hayato moved the glass of alcohol in his hand by circular motion, slowly as he let the time to pass by. Although his eyes were protesting to rest, he still wait for his wife, even the sunshine comes first or it takes forever. He doesn’t care it at all. It was one week later when she last came home. A small table with candles that beautifully lighted the dark place eaten by the night and his violin to play a symphony that he composed for her. He supposed that Koyuki will come earlier since it was her birthday today and she already promised it.
“Hayato,” he stood up with smiles as Koyuki finally came.
“Koyuki… I thought you wouldn’t come,” he welcomed her with a kiss. Koyuki let her husband but didn’t respond to it and keep on staring to him, blankly “I prepared a date for us and---“
“I’m tired Hayato… let me rest for now,” Koyuki announced, tiredly and just made her way to their bed room.
Before Koyuki went far, he grasped his wife’s arm “Tell me what I can do to bring you back?” Hayato finally said his heart that he kept from long time. He was so anxious, thinking of Koyuki leaving him… he couldn’t, he would rather die than see her leaving him.
“Divorce,” Koyuki snatched her arm and cast an envelope to the table.
"Sign these divorce papers… that’s all I want,”
Hayato left in dazed as he handed it and pulled the papers with his wobbling hands. He can’t believe what had been displayed in his eyes. Divorce Papers. Why she wanted a divorce? He thought he had all what Koyuki wanted. Peaceful life, Wealth, and family. Does she can’t get satisfied with all she had?
“Why you---“
“The truth is I can’t turn myself back to you. I’m still hurt even if you chose us.” she turned and paced away from him. But she got stopped when he held the woman once again.
He knelt down desperately to her “I’m begging you… please don’t do this to me…I can sacrifice whatever just don’t leave me Koyuki…… I can’t live without you,” her husband held her hand and pleaded with all his heart until tears overflowed endlessly, turning into his hysterical state of himself.
But Koyuki stayed emotionless and looked in his husband with no reactions at all “I’m so stupid that I’d let this last for long because I’m still hoping that I could gather myself back again to you but it became hard… I’ve just wasted my time to you.”

Kazuya winced to great amount of light blinding his eyes from the window pane. He shut his eyes again, for a while, then strived to stand to be on his feet to check the person on the next room, and as he expected, a pain shoot to his back because of his bad position of sleep last night. He couldn’t deny of that. But then, ignoring it, went to the next room.
“Dad,” Kazuya gently shook the body of a mid 50’s man as he as he reached an occupied bed, with his free hand while taking the scattered bottles of whisky on the floor “Get up....it’s already 9,”
The old man wriggled a bit to his son’s touch with his eyes still closed “So what if it’s 9?” he asked, annoyed.
Kazuya heaved a sigh, he didn’t know how to response to him anymore. He should know that he has a meeting regarding his upcoming concerto this winter but then, he has a great hang over this morning and he forget all about it, as usual “Okay, I’ll call Takei-san that you couldn’t come,” he said, weary, as vividly displayed his father’s immobility to his eyes today so he needs to decide for him this time.
Grabbing his phone to his pocket, he punched some numbers to contact Takei-san and it took a second before the other man in the next line answered “Ohayo Gozaimasu---“
“Kazuya,” he could hear anger to Takei-san’s tone “Is your father got drunk again?”
“Takei-san----“ Kazuya tried to explained the same reason. He has a hangover so he can’t come. He couldn’t lie because also the other man on the line knew about this drinking habit of his father that suddenly occurred last month. That almost ruined his career that he established for many years.
“Okay. I know. I’ll call later.” The man on the other line dropped the call off, disappointed.
“Mou... Kazuya,” the old man suddenly murmured that caught his son’s attention. Kazuya sighed again then kneeled beside the bed, then held his father’s hand and put it to his lips “Stop this will you? Stop drowning yourself... I’m so bushed off dad... You’re treating me like I’m five, you’re not saying anything to me...” Kazuya pleaded, gently hoping that he could understand even he could clearly see that he didn’t pay any heed to him ”Are you and mom getting tired of each other? Are you...” .
“NO!” The old man suddenly reacted violently as if he already knew what words will come next in Kazuya’s mouth, he pushed Kazuya and the vase in the side table fall off along with his son. Started to shed his tears, he gathered the sheets and hugged it closer to his chest as if he had his life into it, whispering his wife’s name again and again “N-No... we won’t... S-She still loves me! I-I’ll die... I-I’ll die without her...” then he started to breath faster... so lost and he cried all his heart out.
------
It takes Kazuya an hour to calm his father down and call his cousin to watch over him while he’s preparing to go to California where his mom was assigned for her work. He really needs to go there for mom to clarify anything, his mind was like a land covered by mist right now. He didn’t know who to blame or who he should hate for this. He tried to think of possibilities, but every time it registered to his mind that his parents were at the verge of separation, it pained him a lot.
Remembering their happy memories, almost of his life were filled with joyful past until the last year came after his mom assigned in a hospital in California and started to come home just every two or three times a month and it became worst just last month that his Dad came always drunk to death and arrived at the edge of his career’s downfall.
Why it suddenly changed? His life... why it became ruthless and painful? He didn’t remember anything he’d done immoral that triggers the creator of life to punish him, to suffer like this.
Why?
“Done!~” the girl squealed after he cleaned Kazuya’s wounded finger and covered it with a bandage. “What happened why you got a wound on your finger anyway?” she asked while her tiny hands were busy putting some final touches in his finger, a pink ribbon that she laced beautifully. She believed it will add colour to the plain bandage and also to add happiness in her friend’s gloomy face.
“H-Hai, Arigato,” Kazuya snapped, pulled from deep contemplation because of the little girl’s high-pitched voice. He was so into it that he forgot that he came here to visit his little friend before going to his mom. “Arigato..”
“You’re not answering my question,” she pouted. “Where did you get that wound?” her tone was closer to a girlfriend found a kiss mark on the neck of his boyfriend than a little child.
“Oh.. this...” he gazed to his bandaged finger, sadly “I got this when cleaning the broken vase that dad pushed off,” he talked honestly to the child, trusting her with all his heart. The little girl let Kazuya to put her on his lap as she rested her head against his chest, willing to listen to his words. To every beat of his heart.
She knew all about Kazuya, like an open book. She’s Kazuya’s best friend. She is the keeper of all his hidden thoughts and emotion of the young man.
“I-I don’t know...” His voice started to shiver “He’s not in his usual self... I know there’s something bothers Dad but I don’t know what it is while mom seems already forgotten all about us,”
Kazuya’s tears began cloud his sight as it falls continuously to his cheeks, hugging the girl closer “They’re keeping me secrets... I could feel that they’re at the edge of falling apart but they’re hiding it for my sake and they didn’t know... that it pained the most,”
It’s better them to tell me the truth that doing this to me...
I can’t bear longer the pain..
“Kazu-chan,” she muttered, burying her head more to his chest. “There’s a reason on top of everything,”
The little girl smiled widely then wiped the tears in the young man’s cheeks “They are keeping something not to pain you... but because they love you soooo~ soo~ much.”
“Love that almost heaven-high than my cuteness.” After his tears subside, he hugged the little girl closer once again for always comforting him when he has problems. She’s like an adult in the way she talks soothe with her words, “You should be a doctor someday, and you’re good in taking care of people,”
“Hmp. I won’t” She pushed Kazuya, pouted then crossed her arms to her chest “I don’t want to. I want to be a writer.”
“Writer?” he stroked his chin with his free hand, acting like he’s thinking deeply as he beamed. The way she thinks made her to be different to other children at her age.
The girl happily just nodded, contented as he saw Kazuya smiled, that was her mission of this day anyway, then rest her head to his chest again “I’ll have a story that will remind you if you ever forget...”
“… I’m counting on you Haruka.” Kazuya said, “Please don’t make me forget.”

Jin folded the last shirt and slotted in to his bag. He pulled the zipper of it to secure his things inside. The sun glows high. He was certain that it will the greatest day had come. Jin waited this day. He wanted to live with her far away from detractor surrounds them. People who were considering their relationship a sin. Like a crime. But he didn’t mind it. He was gobbled by his madness, by love he had for her. All what he had right now is passion with the woman he only love. The guilt and the damages he could do were already brushed off.
When he arrived at the restaurant, he gazed upon to the hospital where Koyuki certainly is. Few hours from now, He would finally hold his hand always and even anywhere he would like. Kiss her in front of people not just above them like they used to do in the apartment. It is Jin’s dream. To let the world witness that Koyuki belongs to him.
Jin pulled his sleeves to gawk on his watch. His temper getting shorter. Why she’s not yet here? He gets his bag and put them in his shoulders as he decided to go inside the hospital and search for her.
:*:*:*:*:*:*
Kazuya is wobbling on his seat. He didn’t know how will he say about what's Hayato’s doing to himself, of why he’s doing it to himself? Is his mom knows about this? She hadn’t been in their house for long time already, as if she already forgotten about her family. But he need to fuel himself with courage and tried to think the worst yet it’s too painful for him to absorb everything might happen.
With a normal speed, he walked and scanned the lobby, hoping he would see his mother there. He merely made steps, ambled his sight. Smile in every people he encountered in his way. Assisting patients along his way. He found the hospital having many nice people around.
Without his further notice, he reached the second floor as he continues to stroll while scanning. The next floor was little bit stilled than the ground floor. Only few nurses and doctors were there. The doors are closed and patients are merely stayed in their wards. He frowned as he noticed a door. He could saw the shadow inside it since the door was not properly closed. He approached and intentionally pushed it.
He can’t believe in what he witnessed.
A man leaning on the wall who had a lip-locking session with a woman shorter in the dark. The room was dark and he can’t vividly pictured the man. But the woman, she has a familiar frame. The wavy brownish hair and the coat she was wearing that resembles to the other doctors, like her mother’s. He has no doubt, it was Koyuki.
The two people startled as they heard rustled sound made by the bunch of flowers fell from his hands. Koyuki turned her head to face the person not too far behind. Her whole body trembled as she met the teary eyes of her son.
Kazuya dashed away as fast as he could. As far as his feet could take him. He wished that he didn’t witness that. The air was getting insufficient for him to breathe. The pain was like blocking his passage of air. Why she could do that? Is Hayato did something that triggers her to be with another man? His world turned in silent. All he could hear was his own thoughts. He continued to run without minding his way. He can’t clearly saw his way due to the tears clouding his eyes but he wanted to keep going. Far away from her.
“Kazuya!”
He turned to the one who called him. His mother who roughly pushed her voice to the limit just to call his name, in tears. Hysterically in tears.
*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*:*
His drenched in tears eyes. The only thing she could only see as Koyuki closed her eyes. She hated when it's playing on her memory. She grabbed his hand, revealing the tube from dextrose speared to his wrist. Her tears welled as she gazed upon Kazuya marked by contusions and wounds to his face. He was hit by a car after he dashed not caring his way after seeing Koyuki with that man. She placed Kazuya’s hand to her lips as she whispered her endless apologies. It was her fault why is this occurring, she should pay the price.
Tatsuya grasped air hardly as he came to the hospital. He’s mind turned troubled threads. He couldn’t mind the blood that stained in his shirt even the people suspiciously staring at him as he dashed looking for his auntie.
“What happened Tatsuya?” Koyuki inquired Tatsuya who looked still dazed and with shirt painted with blood.
In tears, he budged his gaze to Kazuya who’s lying in the bed having wounds marking his flawless skin. Damn this, why is this happening? He gritted his teeth and held his fist. He felt his head like it would burst. Would burst in mixed emotions he conveys.
Koyuki couldn’t longer wait his nephew, her heart pumps faster in fret. She grabbed his shoulders and looked to his emptied orbs “Tell me! I want to you tell me what happened to you Tat-chan!” she cried.
He slowly lifted his hand, giving Koyuki a creased paper that been also tainted with blood. She handed it with his quavering fingers.
I can’t live without you Koyuki… I would rather die than to see you leaving me
“I saw Uncle Hayato bathing in his own blood at the bathroom few hours after Kazuya went here,” told, Tatsuya who’d been messed up and still in shock.
“He didn’t suicide.. You and Jin… killed him.” he hisses as the warm drops of tears falling.
The grains of tears from her eyes fall down to the paper she was holding. This is the consequences of all she had done. Too painful and remorseful it became. But it seems it was the only start of her punishments. Kazuya would wake up and she was not certain what will be the effect to his head after that accident. She will certainly embrace this remorse for life.

My doctor advised me to wear a wrist brace and don't use computer for almost two months when I had that! AND I DON'T WANT TO HAPPEN THAT AGAIN.
So humans out there, don't be like me. please take care of yourselves :)
Pardon me if I'll update slower than the previous. I'm managing my typing hours so my hands won't be over used again. SEE YAH /hugs and kisses/
