Oh what a beautiful day!
Alicia is very happy. Yes, Alicia is. Alicia is now going to tell of her day today, okay? So, first Alicia went to Chemistry, which she sat through another boring review for her midterm tomorrow. I really hope that Alicia does well. Next she went to Algebra and had fun explaining to Heather and Dana how to use matrices to solve equations. Plus, Alicia beat the game of Phantom on her calculator once she was done. Next class was English, where for homework Alicia had to write a poem. Alicia would now like to post her poem that she wrote. Alicia wonders what people will think of it.
The once sleepy gardens where many had heard the peaceful silence bussing is no more.
Now, it has become like a wretched fool who, after collapsing, tries again to go to the door.
Will he not learn, that he can nver break clear from this horrible nightmare?
"Don't go past me," he moans, "this is too hard to bear."
But yet he persists because his thoughts are lifted high,
To a better placed where the sunbathed peace never dies in the sky.
If he were merely born of a different race,
He would not be in this awful place.
One beautiful thing, his wife back at home,
As long as he continues to believe, he will continue to roam.
Alicia also laughed a lot at lunch today. In band Alicia was the only oboist and ran out of breath after the certain stretch from measure 70 on in "Turquoise Daydreams". But, she caught it again.
Alicia also got a haircut today.
