More BPAL Stuff

This is bad, ya'll.  My beloved, lovely, wonderful, generous husband did an amazing thing for me this Christmas.  He gave me a budget and told me I could get my own gifts.  Trust me, this is a GREAT thing!!  It means we really fell down the "Giftmas" rabbit hole, but as neither of us are particularly religious, it only reinforces that we celebrate a tradition.

I spent a large portion of my budget on BPAL.  I got Old Moon, two bottles of Leather Phoenix, Rumpelstilzchen, and the second imp pack from The Last Unicorn series.  I also got some clothes.  In all honesty, my gift money is long spent.  I'm still looking at and drooling over bottles of Magic, Do As You Will and Elli's Song.  I'm scouring the forum for some of the Carnaval Diabolique scents (Aeronwen, Antonino), and SENELION!  I missed that one, but I keep my eyes open for possible decants or bottles.

I've been sucked into and consumed by BPAL and I love it.  At the moment, I'm wearing an experimental layered scent comprised of Molly Grue (too figgy?), The Apothecary, and The Hessian of the Hollow (both because of the common fig element).  At first it went very bright and citric.  It's smoothing out now, though, into a masculine scent that reminds me of Mechanical Phoenix.

Oh that reminds me-I want to try Wood Phoenix, too!

I've got a project on the needles to pay for one bpal purchase, and four more shawls to knit to pay for another.  I figure it'll take me at least until the end of February before I'm able to look for more bpal-for-knitting trades.  Speaking of which, I'd better get back to this project!

bpal, wanting-more
