This is only ~500 words so it's very short but still enjoyable I hope (^_^)

“Kame, Kame, Kame - you have to come see this!” Jin shouted over his shoulder to Kame while jumping up and down in joy. “Kame, come here, now, please ~” Jin continued whining.
Kame reluctantly got off the bed he had been lying so comfortably on. “What do you want Jin?” He questioned the boy who was wildly waving his arms around, seemingly pointing at something outside the window. “I hope it’s nothing idiotic, I was almost asleep…” He added softly to himself.
Kame quickly walked over to stand next to his boyfriend, turning to look out the window. “What is it? I see nothing speci…” He trailed off when he spotted the thing that got Jin so excited. It was a beautiful rainbow, stretching over the whole sky.
“Don’t you want to go out and search for the treasure at the end of the rainbow?” Jin happily asked Kame while circling his arms around the thinner boy’s waist. “I heard that there is a treasure there but no-one has ever found it. Can’t we try searching for it, please, please, please?” While uttering the last please Jin snuggled even closer into Kame and softly kissed his neck. He added another please for good measure and kissed Kame’s cheek this time.
Kame smiled at the other’s simplicity. He hated to destroy Jin’s hope but there was no way he would let his boyfriend continue believing such a thing. “Stupid, there is no such thing as a treasure at the end of a rainbow. First of all, there is no specific end of a rainbow. A rainbow is only light shone through water drops. The water drops cause the light to break into different wavelengths and each different wavelength has a different colour from the others. So a rainbow is only light reflected through water drops and the ‘end’ of the rainbow would move according to where you stand. If you move closer to the rainbow, it will move further away.”
Jin just stood there gaping, he quickly lost Kame when he tried to explain the phenomena of rainbows and why there could be no treasure. He didn’t understand at all what Kame was talking about but he caught one thing, there would be no treasure hunting for him. He immediately started pouting when he realized that. “At least it’s pretty…” He mumbled.
“Yes, it is pretty,” Kame agreed and turned his head ever so slightly so he could smile at Jin.
“Not prettier than you though,” Jin quickly said and smiled back at his lover.
“Silly,” Kame whispered before he covered Jin’s lips with his own to stop him from uttering more such nonsense.
“But it is true,” Jin insisted against Kame’s mouth. “You are prettier, you are better in every possible way, you …” He couldn’t say anything else because Kame slid his tongue into the other’s mouth. Kame really wanted the other to stop talking. Jin quickly forgot what he had been about to say when he found himself occupied with something much more pleasurable.
