I never liked Sarah Palin.  You can hate on me all you want.  Call me a stupid left wing nut job, or a self hating woman, but it wont change the fact that I don’t like her.  Now here’s the real confession:  I kinda liked John McCain.   I will pause and let all my liberal friends gasp.  I liked a lot of what he had say, he seemed to have good ( Read more... )

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeaaahhh...Um, sorry to have to deliver the news to you, but I just came back from a Death Panel, and they brought up this post, and they said they're going to have to put you down. Sorry. Since you won't be needing it, can I have your Olympus, and the lenses too?

Actually, I liked McCain enough as well, but yeah, Palin ruined his chances I think...'cause she opened her mouth, y'know. *RIMSHOT* No, Palin messed up by trying too hard to appeal to peoples' values and emotions (which is how Bush got reelected I think?) which probably only works if people already know who you are. I mean, here was this random woman from Alaska claiming she had the country's best intentions in mind, nobody knows her so how should she know what's good? That, and the whole "Maverick" thing; it was like watching some kid trying to get you to like 'em by imitating your friends' tastes? YEAH, I'M DOWN WITH THAT MAVERICK STUFF, HOMIE, DAWG, CHIEF, HOMESLICE, I'M ALL ABOUT FLYING WITH MY WINGMEN. HIGHWAY TO THE DANGER ZONE ALL UP IN THE HIZZLE FO' SHIZZLE. YOU STILL SAY FO' SHIZZLE, RIGHT?

tl;dr: I agree, thank goodness McCain lost, Palin is a little loopy (BUT NOT BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN).

remind me to let you borrow Oct. issue of Vanity Fair because the article kind of makes you cry out of sheer relief that she didn't get elected VP.
