My garden is shaping up really well. My decision to go with almost entirely transplants this year means I'm planting some varieties I wouldn't have chosen otherwise, but they're so much further along (and sturdier, and healthier) at this point that it's worth it. I've already got tomato and pepper blossoms for heavens sake. That's the classic tradeoff with letting someone else grow your seedlings.
What I've got so far:
watermelon, crimson sweet
winter squash, Waltham butternut
snap peas, Sugar Snap
snow peas, Oregon sugar pod 2
Marigolds, variety unknown
carrots, variety unknown
parsley, Italian plain
Swiss chard, golden
spinach, Regal hybrid
Thyme, silver
thyme, lime
Kale, lacinato
chives
Bell pepper, yellow
Bell pepper, fajita green
tomato, Bush Goliath
tomato, Roma (specific variety unknown)
tomato, Black Krim
tomato, Mortgage Lifter
tomato, Husky cherry
Rosemary, barbecue
Sage, tricolor
Kohlrabi, purple
basil, sweet
Tarragon, French
Zucchini, (specific variety unknown)
Garlic, two varieties, which I've forgotten
shallots, variety unknown
eggplant, Ichiban
eggplant, Prolific
Still to be planted:
Basil, Greek Column
potato, just cause I've got an empty spot and they're fun
cantaloupe
artichoke, Imperial Star
pepper, red Bhut Jolokia
and something else still to be determined, or maybe an extra cantaloupe.
