woke up about an hour ago couldn't get back to sleep so tuned in to the finish of Iditarod 34. Jeff King will never read this but a big congrats to him and of course his dogs! Number 2 will be in about 2 hours or so from now it will most likely be Doug Swingly. I've never been awake for the live finish before. I was surprised by the size of the crowd greeting him in the 3 degree temps in Nome. Today was a good day. I went riding. I didn't feel balanced enough to trot so I walked. Shelly's daughter gave me my lesson because Shelly got the schedule mixed up and had to be elsewhere. She had me to some different things I'veCame home ate lunch and took Els out for a walk. It was so nice I wanted to walk the gc but no one was there to greet me, so we walked the shopping center. Its a good thing we did such a short route but my legs were tight. Later we went back to the SC so I could get dog food and slim fast. She did awesome on both routes I spent the afternoon and evening watching birthday live. yes, it was finally on and was as emotional as ever. I can't reemember how many babies were born on the show. I'll have to go look on the website and see. I spent some time on the phone with friends. Please pray for a friend of mine who's wife is filing for devorce. He was asked to move out a week ago and is now in his own place. He is hurting terribly. It was hard talking with him. I forgot to mention in my last entry that D and M came over on Sunday. It was great to see them again. Guess that's all I have to say. Think I'll try sleeping again. i'm so totally wide awake. never done before so that was cool.
