ready and waiting

Hi all, here I am I woke up earlier then I needed too . I had a horrid nightmare last night involving Ellie being extrememly ill from eating chocolate so she had to go the the vet for monitoring. When I came to pick her up from the vet she saw me and ran away. I woke up crying. Fortunately my dog seemed to understand something was up because she cuddled up against me. Tam was there too purring her head off. I hate nightmares have had several this week along with ellie related emotional stuff So, anyway, My bus will be here sometime within the next 45 minutes. Fifteen minutes till my window which is a half hour begins. Have I mentioned I take paratransit? So anyways, I'm already to go. exept for harnessing up Ellie. i love it when I have some extra time in the mornings. It doesn't happen much! we are going to the eleementary school I was at last week this time to be read too. I'm bringing both Sarah's sleepover and CJ the guide dog puppy and they can choose or choose another book from the classroom. I'll listen to about twenty kids and help them with any difficulty. I really enjoy doing this type of thing. Helping children become confident relaxed readers who love literature is so awesome. Its one of my life's goals, to spread my love of reading. I need to call the adult literacy program to see if they've found a student for me. I keep forgetting to do that. Speeking of literature the library has a reading program for adults where you win prizes. They do this for kids each summer and this winter decided to do it for adults. For every ten hours you read between well it began december 21 beginning of winter until march 21 you enter your name in a drawing to win 75 dollar gift certificate for a local bookstore and other prizes. So now I'm keeping track. I've never really kept track of how much I read before. Wednesday for an hour and a half yesterday was only an hour. Oh and I found a christian fiction bookreview and author interview blog which also had links to some cook sites and an email list which reads a book a month and discusses it. I need to see if I can find the book for Feb which is called Leave it to Claire. I really enjoy guided discussions like this. I wish there was a christian fiction reading group around here like the one that existed at my friend Char's church in co. Later this afternoon my former housecleaner and I are going to the mall. Wish us luck pray she doesn't poop! We have done 5 routes and she's left walking while pooping gifts during 3 of them. I'm concerned as this is abnormal. I am giving it a few more days before I call vet/school. But things like this just start me down the whole road of maybe this can't won't work maybe she's gonna need to retire early track of morning. Her guide work has been marvelous this week with the exeption of one route that was really sniffy and screwing up a street crossing. I'm pleased with her work, but she can't poop like this because I can't catch it. If you really want more of discription of why I'll be happy to explain LOL. Its funny what I will so willingly discuss now that I have a dog like relieving issues that I previously thought were so disgusting! AnywayInstead of just the normal feelings of sadness I usually experience I've been going in to panic mode not just feeling uneasy but having some all out panic attacks. Very abnormal and annoying! I have therapy next week and I'm actually looking forword to talking with her about some of this junk and other things. as I said her guide work has been great. Sunday we did a mile route and yesterday a new 2 mile one.She did great at it just following the edge of the road. She ignored completely several dogs all in a row behind fences including one who ran along the fence barking and banging his frisbee against the fence. After Linda said we'd passed all the dog occupied yards I got down on the ground and praised her up of course i'd been praising her along but her work was so perfect she deserved some petting, so I got down and petted her and she wagged her whole body and bounced in a circle! To cool! Plus a big day of running around to school, gym, candy shop, library and store during which she did really well . of course we volunteered at the school on the other days as well. We also did a couple of routes around the square and gym shopping shopping center. Only the one route was less than perfect with the exeption of the 3 times of pooping. I just can't figure what's causing it and i'm very nervous re the mall this afternoon, but she needed to go and I didn't want to bring Ellie there until I had someone sighted to walk with me and watch. i'm anticipating being spoken too about not bringing herin after last time which by law they have to let me back in. i'm not sure exactly at what point they could bar all future entry. I know though that here in wa you can return to a place of businesss after being asked to leave at another time unless it can be established that your dog is constantly presenting problems. I just don't know the definition of constant in this case. I'd like to find out because well because I'm curious. LOL my girl is dreaming. She had so much fun yesterday playing with Lind's 8 year old who threw a ball for her for like 20 minutes! It was also nice enough that she went outside and played with Debby who is back from her month in california. ellie was as excited to see her as she was to see her raisers!! I'm thirsty taking a break to get water. Ok back, I'm now 15 minutes in to my window. Let's see what else to say about my week. I've been really emnjoying the programming on the history channel in the evenings. It is great leaders week. they did a huge thing on Lincoln on monday ben franklin on Tuesday and programs about the presidents the last 2 nights. I fell aslep last night before it was over so I don't know if it will be on tonight or not. Rare for me to fall alseep before ten, well not counting afternoon naps My dog just woke up jumped off the bed and is over here demanding pets. Now she's attacking her kong! Hmmm wonder if A would be willing to stop at the petstore... Oh speeking of tv, I was very very excited to find a starting over discussion comunity on LJ. I just love love that show. Don't ask me why listening to other people's problems and the therapy they go through go solve them plus the issues between housemates is interesting and enjoyable to me but it is. perhaps its because its not my problems. Perhaps also because even though it isn't my problems I can relate to the desire to better myself but also with the real battle it can be to get yourself there. i know how all those ups and downs and good and horrible therapy sessions and day to day life can be. So, hmmm guess i just figured out why I liked it LOL. The comunity seems cool. Some people are judmental/annoying, but welcome to life. also on the subject of tv. this week i read the January issue of the braille Monitor in it there was an article about the tv show 3 wishes where amy grnat and her tema helped a blind lady with her daily living and mobility skills and where they built her the playground. it was a really good article and I recomend going the the website and reading it. It give some really interesting behind the sceens info like about all the times they had to refilm sceens just to get the angle perfect ect. hmmm I haven't recieved my worship order for this week that's odd. we're not singing so it doesn't really matter we sing next week Hark I hear The Harps eternal. I love that song. Might make it part of a podcast I like it so much and hwen we are sining it right it sounds awesome. we are also singing a strange song a poem by Emily Dickinson set to music about the moon and the sea plus we started Easter stuff. My neighbor is up and moving around. Well lets see is there anything else to say? Rats my bus is ten mins late gotta go call the bus. Waiting on hold sucks!! Tam is eating. all right cool bus will be here in 5 by by
