For Posterity's Sake :-)

I just haven't written a lot about myself lately, and as always I want something to look back on in a couple years...so I'm writing this for posterity's sake:

I am now right in the thick of my fourth year in college (First at UNI). I've learned way too much over the last few years and it looks like I might get the chance to try it all out soon. Music has slowly but surely transformed from a glorified hobby into a true passion for me: I write, sing, play, record and listen to as much as I can, every day. This is what I always wanted, right? It feels pretty good knowing that I've achieved a nice level of competence in my craft, and that people actually view me as a musician and not just a guy who thinks he can play piano. Good stuff, for sure :-).

As for my personal life, Bridget and I have finally decided to take the plunge, and we'll be getting married soon (not too soon, we're looking at August 14th, 2010). If someone had told me this would happen when I was...Oh wait, everyone's been telling us this for the past 8 freakin' years! I'm really really REALLY happy about it, and about us, and everything...I'm actually leading a very pleasant life right now.

Other than that, here are some smaller, random updates:

1. Going to go vote early for Obama tomorrow.
2. Economy's in the toilet, and I'm reeeeeeally feelin' it.
3. Got a great job as a stagehand at the Gallagher-Bluedorn, hopefully it'll translate into the same kind of work later in life.
4. The Yankees have just finished their first unsuccessful postseason run in 13 years, and it apparently was nobody's fault (*cough* GIRARDI)
5. Living with Mikey and Britin this year has been pretty awesome, minus the cleaning up after ourselves.

Until next time!
