ELENA/ELIJAH APPRECIATION WEEK 2012 - DAY 4
Day 4 - Favorite Elijah Mikaelson Scene?
I have a couple, actually, much like my favorite Elena scenes. Again, I'm trying to keep these Elena/Elijah specific.
The hall-way scene in 3.14
The little arm stroke. It was just perfect. ♥

Elijah lures Elena into the forest (and I just feel like Elena knew something was up) and then questions her - knowing she'd sign his and his family's death sentences but wanting to hear it from her - and traps her in a cave with his homicidal sister in order to save his family.
And then when all is said and done, he leaves Elena a fucking love letter, knowing she understood why he did what he did (and understanding perfectly why Elena did what she did), and promises he'll carry his regret of his treatment of her 'always and forever.' ♥
Then of course, there's 3.22, where he offers to take his family on the run from a psychotic vampire hunter intent on destroying them all, just so Elena can live out a normal life. He's willing to run and hide for 50+ years (remember how he promised to keep Klaus dessicated until even after she dies so that her descendents won't be bothered?) just so Elena can live in peace. He's risking his own life AND HIS FAMILY'S LIVES for Elena. ♥
