This beautiful vintage dress is in perfect condition (worn three times in the four years I've owned it). It is made from a thick stretchy cotton material that hugs nicely no mater what your shape, and fits a size 1 to 6. The bust has hard cups that are a large B size, but it fits anywhere from a AA to a small C. The neckline is really unique, with a halter neck-loop as well as racerback straps. The dress flares out just above the knee and is great for swing dancing (because of the swirl it gives), costume parties, cocktail parties.
It was purchased from a vintage store in St. Mark's Place, New York, and the tags from the shop are still attached. The label in the dress says "ATOMIC!" I was told by the store owner that it is inspired by vintage Comme-des-Garcons.
Turquoise cotton summer dress from the 50s with white vertical floral pattern. Comes with matching belt (if you want this white one then I'll throw it in). Pretty white carved buttons, pockets and trim with eyelet detailing.
(i am not really in pain, it's just the sun)
Chanel-style (a woman came up to me on the street when I was wearing it asking "my dear, who are you wearing? It's not Chanel, is it?") brown & white boucle jacket with hot pink velvet trim, hot pink satin lining. 3/4 length sleeve, intricate brown cord toggle.
in other news, i learned to silkscreen on the weekend. this is a shirt i made.
i bought that blazer from Pacific Mall, the only Asian mall in North America where you barter for your clothes!
sometimes, i wear EYELINER (& make duck faces).
