OMG IT'S HERE, YAY!! This was perfect, Maria! Gosh, I love your writing so much! I love the references to Claire and also how he wanted to become a doctor for his mum but couldn't. You captured his mindset wonderfully! I like how you described his queasiness towards blood but how lately he's seen so much of it that it hardly bothers him anymore. He took a horrible beating in that station but yeah, he really didn't seem to care much and I think your explanation for that here works really well; how Claire and Aaron are worth it. Poor Charlie. But yes, loved this!! Thank youuu!! I'm saving this to memories! Awesome job!!
