the title says it all. i never update. i need to get over that and stop including it as the first line of every entry! Its august now and every one keeps asking me when i leave for school. here it is: sept 1st is when i have to actually be there to move in, but we will probably drive down on the 31st. I am taking off from work starting the week of the 21st. i wasnt planning on cutting out of work early but my mom convinced me too and now i am excited to be doing so. work has treated me like crap all summer playing all of these games with me about cashiering and hours and time off. i have had just about enough of all that for a year. i hope to find a better job for next summer and will only use hannaford as a default security job.
i have started getting stuff for my dorm( i.e. bedding, essentials, microwave etc.) its fun to think about decorating and beginning a whole new experience. there is no better place for me to be going to college and i am so completely lucky and fortunate that my parents are helping me make my dreams come true even though the financial side wont be so pleasant.
i am now thinking about leaving everyone because lately it seems like no one is around (except misha). which is fine other people have work and significant others. and im going to try not to take it as people cutting ties because thats sad. we should be spending more time with each other while we can before it is too late. and anyone who wants to join in for a breakfast get together thursday 10am at jake's downtown is more than welcome. leave a comment or call or send an im if you're interested.
