Day After... (What the hell?)

May 23, 2008 17:47

Noting that no one really cares about this -- I'm typing it for myself:

Something is going on and I haven't found it yet...

But I woke up expecting all the hoopla to have died down after the trial... and truly was looking for a good 75 website hits or so by mid-afternoon. Instead, I find 250 by mid-afternoon and that hits have been going up exponentially. I find newspapers visiting, even Google, Inc. which blocked all of its information aside from just that. Then again, since I use Google Analytics, they can do that. And oddly, I'm getting hits from all over the world. I haven't checked the news yet, but something was posted somewhere. I even got a visit from "Chicago Bears Football Club," which is the actual headquarters of the NFL team (go Bears!).

So I am typing this as I look...

Not finding much really... CBS News has an AP article, but ABC News had one last night. Washington Post FINALLY wrote their own article on it. And other than that, not too much. That's not explaining visits from China.

To me, it's just looking like word got out. They're all using search engines.

94 people typed in "michelle gardner-quinn".

Hmm. Damn good thing I caught those website errors this morning before I went to bed.
