bath time: a photo series
Koda hates me when I make him take a bath.
I've coaxed him into the bathtub, and he's still giving me puppy dog eyes hoping I'll let him escape the evil water and soap that is sure to follow.
Once I actually pour water on him, he looks skinny! Humiliated, he gives me "the look" in the second photo.
After we rinse all the soap out, dry him off, and let him escape the bathtub, he immediately jumps out and shakes any remaining water all over us. It's our punishment.
True to every single time he's taken a bath, the instant we open the bathroom door, he runs as fast as possible all around our apartment- circling the living room, around the coffee table, then into the bedroom where he hops on the bed and back down again, only to do a few more wild-dog laps through the living room. Sometimes he'll pick up a wayward sock or dish towel and run with it in his mouth for a little extra flair.
Here he is, sitting still just long enough to show just how sparkly clean he looks after a bath.
