lol. thanks, dean! ...i guess i'm really just upset because i let Tsut down...
ok, so basically the concert was my night of hell. so, first things first - i try to play my oboe and realize that it's broken; i can only play about three notes. so after trying to fix it for about 15mins, Sara Beery lets me use hers. but then as i'm pulling my reed out of my oboe, to put it in hers, it hits the stand, and a corner breaks off. then i have to tune the orchestra. ::flinches:: (sorry guys!!) and that's about when i realize that EVERYTHING about Sara's oboe is waaaay different - the spacing, the tuning, everything! it even has more keys than mine does. but i try to play anyways.. and really i just screw everything up. my tunning is all over the place, i couldnt play any of the fast 16th-note-runs and the third movement was disatrous.
i guess i'm only so upset because i worked really, really hard to be able to live up to Tsut's expectations.. only to have it all fall apart in the end. honestly, i can just imagine him wishing he could just retract the "i want you to move to A!" statement.
