I got an email from Rosie during the week, along with an exercise routine she thinks I could do at home. She said it included strength work and stuff to get my heart rate up, and if I didn't understand any moves to get back to her. Fine I thought, I'm sure all will be okay, I mean, how hard can it be? Then saw the first thing after warm up, beast hold into downward dog….

All I can say is, I wish I had as much confidence in myself to do such things as she apparently does.

It was a Bodhisitting day yesterday. It was on Tuesday and Thursday as well, though, only for a few hours each time. Plus, Bodhi comes here rather than me going to hers. It went okay, and I've mastered going for a walk with the wheelchair and a three-year-old who needs herding at all times. Things did get a bit tricky in Lidl when I gave her one of the kiddies trolleys to push. At that point, I could have done with a few more hands. She's good though, and actually told James that he had to sit still when he stood up from his chair.

My brother did call by the other night and brought the feeding help gadget he'd made, and it actually works. Not how I was picturing it at all, but James can use it quite nicely. Slow eating, sure, but hey, it works. I said I was going to take a photo to share and James said he'd demo it so

The upright bit has very strong magnets on top. Using his mouth, James scoops or stabs anything he's eating, then attaches the spoon or fork to the magnet, meaning it sticks out, and he can lean forward and eat. Like I said, it's slow, but gives him that bit of independence.

It's Kayleigh's birthday today, and Lucy asked if we wanted to go out for tea with them. I'm not sure where, but James is very keen. I think he's getting itchy feet after not being further than the doctor's in this last week. And ha, Lucy has literally just messaged, we're going to a localish restaurant at 3:45. So, I'll be back home for Strictly, best of all worlds.

As always, The Musketeers fandom is embracing whumptober, which is excellent. Normally, I'd be wishing longer stories were being posted but right now, I'm so tired by the end of the day these bite size postings are perfect.
